Finding Journals Through UC Merced Library

Four Strategies to Identify Relevant Journals

  1. Use a search engine like Google to search the open web. Use some keywords related to your topic or sub-field, i.e. "Medical Sociology" AND journal
  2. Use Google Scholar to find relevant articles, and make a note of where they were published.

  1. Use BrowZine (link below) to find journals that the UC Merced Library has full text access to. 
    • To locate BrowZine, Click the "Journals" link on the Library website, then select "BrowZine" from the tabs at the top of the page.
  2. Ask your advisor or another professor who has knowledge of your field.
