Search Strategies

keywords banner

Keywords that may lead you to news reporting about migration in Africa may include the following:

  • migrants
  • immigrants
  • border(s)
  • transit migration
  • refugees
  • asylum seekers
  • nationals
  • mobility
  • displacement
  • visas
  • passports
  • Africa, name of a specific country or region

To locate keywords from an article, to find another articles on this topic from a different press, I look for specific or descriptive terms. In a news article, these keywords are likely found in the title or beginning paragraph.
