ERIC... meet ERICA!

An archive of the database ERIC has been created and is now called ERICA thanks to the efforts of the Data Rescue Project (link below). This database is available through the EBSCO and ProQuest platforms; however, as of April 2025, we do not know if cuts to the publicly-available database (available at eric.ed.gov) will impact the versions from these two providers.

ERICA (ERIC Archive)
ERICA is a rescue catalog which preserves over 500,000 Open Access publications originally hosted by the US Department of Education in the ERIC research repository. ERIC was defunded on 23 April 2025 and the maintenance contract is set to expire soon, meaning that ERIC is likely to shut down. The PDFs were rescued using the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine by a volunteer of the Data Rescue Project.
