In general, many Latin American countries publish government information online. You can often do a domain search (.gob.ve or .gov) to search all government websites in Google.

Depending on the research question, sometimes US Government sources provide credible information about the topic.
1789 - present. 2004 - present. CRS provides excellent background information on areas of public policy. Reports are generated by researchers working within the Library of Congress and are created at the request of Members of Congress or their committees.
