BDS services are available to all UCM faculty, Public Health graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and community healthcare providers. BDS can assist with experimental design, grant proposals, facilitate access to and analysis of secondary datasets. Digital Curation and Scholarship services include, but not are limited to, training and guidance in curating and preserving research data, data management planning, and supporting research projects through digitization services.

OIT Research computing services include, high-performance computing on the Linux-based, 2076-core MERCED Cluster, data collaboration using the 10Gpbs UC Merced Science DMZ Network, research data storage, and visualization on the Wide Area Visualization Environment (WAVE) facility. This service is for active faculty and research groups (including graduate students) who require data management plans, data curation, publication or storage of primary research data. The RDM Program offers consulting, training, and online guidance to address new requirements from funding agencies, publishers, and data providers, and to help researchers manage and steward their data effectively and efficiently.

UC Merced hub for spatial science research, analysis, education, visualization, spatial data archiving, and access to spatial science software and equipment for UC Merced and its partners. SpARC provides consulting services to graduate students and faculty members to support grant applications, research and publications.
