OIT Research computing services include, high-performance computing on the Linux-based, 2076-core MERCED Cluster, data collaboration using the 10Gpbs UC Merced Science DMZ Network, research data storage, and visualization on the Wide Area Visualization Environment (WAVE) facility. Research Data Management Consultation Service [Library + Office of Information Technology]
This service is for active faculty and research groups (including graduate students) who require data management plans, data curation, publication or storage of primary research data. The RDM Program offers consulting, training, and online guidance to address new requirements from funding agencies, publishers, and data providers, and to help researchers manage and steward their data effectively and efficiently.
SpARC Spatial Analysis & Research Center [Library]
UC Merced hub for spatial science research, analysis, education, visualization, spatial data archiving, and access to spatial science software and equipment for UC Merced and its partners. SpARC provides consulting services to graduate students and faculty members to support grant applications, research and publications.

Statistics Tutors [Graduate Division]
Tutors available for assistance with experimental design, data tidying, visualizing data, methods and models. Note, tutors cannot write or run analysis for students. Drop in during walk-in hours listed on the webpage or email firstname.lastname@example.org with “Stats tutoring” as the subject.

Research Data Management Workshop Series
A series of 50-minute workshops for faculty and graduate students addressing one or more components of the National Science Foundation's requirement for data management plans (DMPs).
SpARC hosts multiple workshops throughout the academic year on topics such as GIS essentials, ArcGIS, story mapping and more.
