Integrating "Get it at UC" into Google Scholar

If you use Google Scholar, you'll want to add "Get it at UC" as a link within Google Scholar so you can connect seamlessly to the full text of materials found in Google Scholar search results. Users can do so by doing the following:

  1. Access the expanded menu (three hash marks) from the top left corner of the Google Scholar landing page, then click "Settings."

  2. Click “Library Links” in the left hand menu.

  3. Search for University of California Merced in the search box. You'll see three options. Choose "University of California, Merced - Get it at UC" and "Open WorldCat - Library Search." If "University of California, Merced - UC eLinks" is checked, un-check it.

  4. Click the blue "Save" button. You're all set!

The UC-eLinks system will no longer be available on October 28, 2021. If you have any questions, please contact Olivia Olivares, Instruction & Outreach Librarian, University Library.
