Access to 31 newspapers from larger cities in the US some with coverage extending back to the 80s. Searchable by keyword, date, headline, author/byline and more.
Sample Search Strategy:
1. Search for your keywords. In this example, I have searched for the name of the artist "kerry james marshall" in quotations marks.
2. In the second search box, I have limited my search to news items that are "More than 500" words. I changed the field from Keyword to Word Count.
3. Once viewing my search results, I change them to Best Match rather than Newest.
1985 - present. Provides access to the five most respected US national and regional newspapers: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune. Content is available by 8am each day and archives contain coverage as far back as 1985.
Sample Search Strategy:
1. Select Advanced Search.
2. Search for your keywords. In this case, I have searched for "cecily brown" and (artist or painter*). I could have added the name of a specific theme, work of art, or exhibition.
3. You can narrow by Source type or Publication date if desired.
