#1 Visit the library's A-Z Databases listing. Search for newsbank.

#2 Locate Newsbank: Access World News in the results. Click on the database title.

#3 Once in Newsbank, select USA-California.

Add Your Key Words to a Search Box.

• Create a logical search.
• Use one or more search boxes.
• Search in All Text.

Filter by Date

• Look at filters to the left of the search results.
• Type in desired dates.
• Click Apply.

Sort By Relevance, Rather than by Date

• At the filter under Sort by, select Best Match.

To open an article and locate the URL. Take these steps.

#1: Click on the article title.

#2: Click on the paper-clip icon. This will generate the permanent URL. Select Copy.
