Getting Started

Voyant is compatible with a variety of formats, including plain text, HTML, XML, PDF, RTF, and MS Word. There are no size limited imposed by Voyant, however you may experience server timeout when ingesting with large files.

To create a corpus (or a body of works) in Voyant:

  • type or paste text into the main text box (this creates a corpus with one document)
  • type or paste one or more URLs into the main text box (one URL per line)
  • click the "Upload" button under the text box to upload one or more files from your computer
  • open an existing corpus (click on the "Open" button under the text box)
  • use the Voyant API

Use the toggle icon at the top right to specify options before selecting the upload or reveal button.
