Welcome to a quick tutorial on attribution and citation in American Sociological Association Style (7th edition) for Sociology. This tutorial is a brief introduction to the practices of attribution, citation, in ASA style. It should take you approximately 15 minutes.

  • Identify why we as scholars and students cite the work of others
  • Recognize the main parts of an ASA 5th edition reference for journal articles, books, and edited book chapters
