Use the Minus Sign

When a search comes up with too many results that are on the wrong track, you can limit it by including a minus sign [-]with no space in front of a description of what you don't want.

Sample search for [bears] 

Compare to:

Sample search for [bears -chicago]

The second set eliminates mention of Chicago, thereby filtering out information about the Chicago Bears team
