The Kolligian Library Building, seen from Scholars Lane Bridge.
This is a view of the Kolligian Library Building from Scholars Lane Bridge. The Library occupies the second, third, and fourth floors of the east wing of this building.
The UCM Library Second Floor Services Desk
There's a Services Desk on the second floor of the Library, next to the Library entrance. You can get reference and research assistance here, as well as check out library materials, get help finding library resources, and other services.
While the Library has many print and physical materials, we also hold many digital/online materials, including over 900 databases and many millions of e-books, online journals, streaming videos, and more.
The Library is a comfortable, climate-controlled, and safe place to study. Whether you're part of a study group or you just want to concentrate on your work by yourself, you'll find a space in the Library. Study spaces include carrels or "pods," tables and chairs with lamps, or collaborative work spaces. All are equipped with electrical outlets so that you can recharge your devices while you work.
The McFadden-Willis Reading Room on the fourth floor of the Library is a well-lit, comfortable place to study that is reserved for silent study. It's a great place to work if you need a very quiet space.

The Lantern is on the first floor of the Kolligian Library Building. It's open 24/7, and has tables, chairs and booths with electrical outlets for study.
The Lantern Café offers coffee, tea, and snacks.
The Library participates in many outreach events on campus. Here's our booth at Bobcat Day 2022. Librarians and library student workers are chatting with prospective new Bobcats
