The UCM Library

Welcome to the UCM Library!

The UC Merced Library offers access to millions of resources and materials that will help you succeed in your college career. We can help you find print and electronic books, journal articles, streaming video, and more. The Library features over 900 databases on many different subjects, and we’re glad to teach you how to use them. We also offer many services to students, including one-on-one research consultations with librarians, equipment checkout, and lots more. The Library building features plenty of space for individual and group study, and quiet study space to help you concentrate.

Our Mission

In keeping with the University’s mission of teaching, research and service, the mission of the UC Merced Library is to achieve excellence by meeting the diverse research, teaching and public service needs of UC Merced researchers (students, faculty and staff) with targeted, quality collections and relevant services that effectively and efficiently support the research life-cycle of finding, using, creating and managing information.
