Joe has been with the University of California, Merced (UCM) since August 2005 and has worked for the UC Merced Library since November of that year. As a librarian Joe works with classes, helping introduce students to the library's resources and various search strategies. You can also contact him if you have a question about citation managers or using specific databases.
Professionally, Joe is interested in how search behaviors have changed with technology, helping students adapt to a changing information landscape and the impact that new search tools have on how we obtain information.
Outside of the library you can find him playing disc golf, mountain biking or BBQing on the weekends.
