We'll learn all about searching PubMed, a GIGANTIC database of journal articles, books, clinical trials, systematic reviews, and more resources pertaining to health and medicine. PubMed is maintained by the United States National Library of Medicine (NLM).
October 13: Literature reviews
We'll discuss the different sorts of literature reviews and how to do them [pending]

OIT can help you with many technology issues, including helping you get connected with the VPN. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE APPROPRIATE VPN AT YOUR EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY. You can't access UCM online resources without it!
NOTE: There are different versions for Macs and PCs.
Your homework: Install Libkey Nomad!
While it's not imperative, it would be a very good thing to have Libkey Nomad installed on your device (laptop, desktop, et c.) before class time. It's free, and it'll make your research much, MUCH easier. Here's more on where to find it and how to install it.
