After this session, you will be able to:

• Create effective search strings for use in database searching;
• Understand the difference between types of articles:
  • Scholarly/Academic/Peer-reviewed
  • Review articles: systematic, scoping, meta-analysis
  • General audience/Popular;
• Find citations in databases and UC Library Search for articles in any citation format; and
• Check any found citations in any format for accuracy and make necessary corrections.

VPN software allows you to connect to the library's online articles and eBooks from off campus.
