Connect Google Scholar to the Library's Resources

Google Scholar can connect to the UC Merced Library's resources, whether you're on campus or off.

  • Set up Library Links in your Google Scholar settings.
  • Make sure to use the VPN when you're off campus. Download it one time, and log in each time you want to connect to the library resources off-campus.

Access Library Resources from Off Campus (VPN)

VPN software allows you to connect to the library's online articles and eBooks from off campus.

Set Up Library Links

  • Sign into Google Scholar with your Google account.
  • Click on the menu icon in Google Scholar.

  • 2. Scroll down to click on Settings.

  • Type University of California Merced, and click on the magnifying glass icon.

  • Check the box next to University of California, Merced - UC-eLinks. Then click save.
