Databases Overview

Databases

Databases are organized, searchable collections of information. Library databases cover many different topics and can help you find scholarly articles, videos, books, news, and more.

Where you search will partially determine what you find. It's a good idea to have an awareness of the resources that are available as you work on your research.

Databases to Start With

Multidisciplinary Databases

You may want to get more context about your film, so looking in a general database can also help. These databases include work from multidisciplinary sources, so are not focused only on film.
