American Journalism Review is a national magazine that covers all aspects of print, television, radio and online media. The magazine, which is published six times a year, examines how the media cover specific stories and broader coverage trends. AJR analyzes ethical dilemmas in the field and monitors the impact of technology on how journalism is practiced and on the final product. The magazine is published by the University of Maryland Foundation with offices in the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland.

British Journalism Review is a forum for analysis and debate, to monitor the media, submit the best as well as the worst to scrutiny, and to raise the level of the dialogue. It is intended to appeal not only to journalists, whether in newspapers, radio and television, or online, but also to media academics and students and to everyone who cares about communication.

CMFR addresses the power of the media and the role of the free press in the development of Philippine democracy. Published by the Knight Digital Media Center. In April 2006, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation provided a $650,000 grant to USC Annenberg and UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism to relaunch the Western Knight Center for Specialized Journalism as the Knight Digital Media Center. The Center is dedicated to helping good journalists and good journalism succeed in the 21st century by providing training for New Media at all levels – from the traditional journalist making the transition to New Media to the New Media journalist seeking to improve critical thinking and beat reporting skills to the newsroom leader managing change in a dynamic era.

They are a nonpartisan, nonprofit "consumer advocate" for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics. They monitor the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews and news releases.

The Center for Responsive Politics is the nation's premier research group tracking money in U.S. politics and its effect on elections and public policy. Nonpartisan, independent and nonprofit, the organization aims to create a more educated voter, an involved citizenry and a more transparent and responsive government.

PolitiFact.com is a project of the St. Petersburg Times. Reporters and editors from the Timesfact-check statements by members of Congress, the White House, lobbyists and interest groups and rate them on their Truth-O-Meter.

Snopes.com is one of the best online resources that debunks Urban Legends and Rumors on a huge number of topics.

Originally created by Michael Dobbs for the 2008 presidential campaign, this site was relaunched with a broader focus with veteran Washington Post diplomatic correspondent Glenn Kessler at the helm.

This text has been described as one of the critical reference sources in journalism today, and it is a key bibliographic guide to the literature. Choice magazine called it a benchmark publication for which there are no comparable sources.
