Finding Scholarly Articles

Scholarly articles can sometimes be found on the web, especially if they are Open Access (OA) (more on that later), but in order to read many of them, you will need to use library databases or go through a paywall. This is because access to many journals is very expensive. The library pays for access to a large number of journals, which means that you have access to materials that most other people who are not affiliated with a university or school do not.

You can find databases that include scholarly articles by navigating to the Library's A-Z Database List and then finding databases that have this mortarboard hat symbol next to them.
