A bibliographic citation manager helps you organize your citations to library resources and research files (books, articles, videos, etc.) according to the format you choose. This course requires the use of MLA format, but a citation manager can generate a bibliography in many different formats, including MLA.
The UC Merced Library supports three citation management tools: RefWorks, Mendeley, and Zotero. Which tool you choose is entirely up to you. Here's a tutorial on choosing a citation manager: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eev39uG2xQ0. You'll find additional information on each of these citation managers below.
RefWorks is a subscription tool that the library pays for. All UC Merced students, faculty and staff can create an account. RefWorks helps you:

A new version of RefWorks is available. More information about choosing legacy RefWorks or new RefWorks is available at "RefWorks - New & Improved".
