Best practices for lists
- Use the built-in bullet point option in your word processor or on the web for unumbered lists
- Use the numbered list option when lists is in order (chronological, sequential, etc.)
- Do not use the hypen (-) or asterisk (*) for this purpose because it will not make sense to screen reader software
