Eng 113 & Span 113 (Martin-Rodriguez): Finding Resources in Spanish

Finding information in Spanish

Many databases include materials in Spanish. This page will show you how to search in a few of them. Some tips to keep in mind as you work are:

  • When you open a database, look under "Advanced Search" to see if there is an option to sort by language
  • Try doing a search in both English and Spanish to see which gets better results
  • Sometimes you will need to do your search first and then narrow down to Spanish -- other times, you can find Spanish resources right away
