  • identify types of sources (e.g., scholarly articles, letters to the editor, etc.) to select research appropriate for assignments and work
  • create effective searches to retrieve targeted and relevant search results
  • identify and use relevant scientific databases and use database functionality to your advantage to narrow search results to locate relevant research articles
  • format and organize citations to properly attribute sources and place your work into the scholarly conversation 

These skills will assist you in completing your TELA, Annotated Bibliography and Research Review assignments.
