What is Zotero?

Zotero is an online bibliographic citation manager. Almost all of the UC Merced Library databases have the option to download citations to Zotero, where they can be annotated, organized, and used to create bibliographies and lists of works cited for papers.

A complete guide to using Zotero can be found here: https://libguides.ucmerced.edu/zotero. Here you can learn how to download and install Zotero to your personal computing device, importing citations to create a personal library of citations, generating a bibliography, and more.

On the right is a library workshop recording on how to use Zotero for those who prefer demonstrations of proper use.
