This guide provides an overview of academic integrity, academic dishonesty, and plagiarism, with an emphasis on those topics as they're understood at the University of California at Merced. Here, we'll discuss what academic integrity is, how academic integrity is encouraged and enforced at UC Merced, and the need to cite and paraphrase information. We'll also try practicing what we preach!
