Goals

At the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

  • identify staff, resources, & services that can help with your research.
  • recognize that your research question may change depending on the research you find.
  • distinguish between popular & scholarly sources.
  • develop keywords from the key concepts in your research question/topic.
  • use search strategies and limiters to get the most out of your search results.
  • access articles through UC-eLinks and/or Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
  • capture citation information in MLA format from library databases.
