Sara Davidson Squibb - AUL for Research & Engagement

Bio

Sara Davidson Squibb joined the UC Merced Library in 2005 but most recently became the Associate University Librarian (AUL) for Research and Engagement (2022). In this role, she is involved in strategic planning, organizational development, communication, and the librarian liaison program. Broadly, she is responsible for the following units: Research & Learning Services, Collections Services, Digital Collections & Scholarship, Geospatial Services, and Data Services.

Her primary goal is to ensure that the UC Merced Library is an organization where her colleagues can thrive in their work and meet the research and learning needs of our students, faculty, and staff.

Based on her education background, Sara's professional interests have revolved around information literacy, instructional design, teaching & learning, and assessment.
